What should the Warrior and Family Members Bring

  • A Camera - Lake Havasu is very scenic. We can take a picture of your fish, and post it on our web site.
  • Sun Block - The sun can be intense on the water. Be sure to use the appropriate SPF for your skin tone
  • Polarized Sunglasses - Eyewear protects from the sun and from the wind
  • Attire - It's is always a good idea to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing - avoid cotton as it does not breathe well. Check weather conditions. A hat is a must…glare and warmth.

This event is part of the Bureau of Land Management / partnership’s “Fisheries for Veterans Project”, using America’s public lands and fishing resources to reconnect and revitalize America’s communities and American heroes.

There will be a charity fund-raising Bass Tournament on 11 November for continued support for future veteran projects.  This event is open to everyone, with a $2,000+ guaranteed cash prize.  More details are available here
