 FishingCommunity.Org in partnership with The Bureau of Land Management and in conjunction with the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, plan to conduct the inaugural “Jupiter Inlet Veterans Family Fishing Classic” for wounded, injured or ill heroes and their families.

Location:  Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area 
We will meet and park at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum

This event is intended to be a no-frills event for veterans and their families, as an integral part of the re-socialization/rehabilitation lifecycle.

What is provided

  • All Fishing Equipment for our Wounded Heroes
    • We typically have enough for family members also
  • Lunch for our Wounded Heroes and family members
  • Volunteers to show you the ropes 

What should the Warrior and Family Members Bring 

  • A Camera - You need to CATCH those special moments
  • Sun Block - The sun can be intense on the water. Be sure to use the appropriate SPF for your skin tone 
  • Polarized Sunglasses - Eyewear protects from the sun and from the wind
  • Attire - It's is always a good idea to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing - avoid cotton as it does not breathe well. Check weather conditions. A hat is a must…glare and warmth.
