                                           Spring                                                Summer

Objective: To create a stress free, healing environment that allows our Wounded Heroes to regain their confidence through connecting with nature. Everyone involved is able to be themselves, laugh, listen and relax while having fun!

Event: This is a day to have fun fishing, enjoy nature, and is for the novice, as well as, the experienced angler!  There will be three categories to choose from:

  • Bass Boat Fishing - Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and Big Bass! NOTE: LOW is a private lake and we have a limit on Co-Anglers (Wounded, Injured, and ILL Heroes).  So signup Now!  There will be a five fish limit with the boat captain allowed only two in the live well. Pairing of Boaters and Co-Anglers will be determined the night before the event during the “get acquainted” dinner hosted by Legends of Fredericksburg, VA.  If there are more Co-Anglers than there are Boaters we will have two Co-Anglers per boat.  If you fish this event, you will need to attend the "get acquainted" dinner.
  • Shore FishingPrizes for Most Fish and Big Fish - any species will do! There is no limit - all fish will be weighted.  Family members will be allowed to compete in this event.
  • Pontoon Boats - Pontoon boats will be available for tours of the lake for anyone that does not want to fish but wants to watch the event from the water.
