 FishingCommunity.Org in partnership with LOW Vets, LOW Anglers, and LOWA Clubhouse will be conducting the 4th annual “Lake of the Woods Wounded Heroes Bass Tournament” for wounded, injured or ill heroes and their families.

This event is intended to be a no-frills event for veterans and their families, as an integral part of the re-socialization/rehabilitation lifecycle.

  • Rooms are available for Wounded, Injured, and ILL free of charge but you must call Pat Gray at (540) 710-5500 to reserve. If Pat is not available, ask for the rooms reserved for the Wounded Heroes Fishing Project.

What should the Warrior and Family Members Bring 

  • A Camera - You need to CATCH those special moments
  • Sun Block - The sun can be intense on the water. Be sure to use the appropriate SPF for your skin tone 
  • Polarized Sunglasses - Eye wear protects from the sun and from the wind
  • Attire - It's is always a good idea to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing - avoid cotton as it does not breathe well. Check weather conditions. A hat is a must…glare and warmth.
